Abhimanyu Singh of Rakta Charitra fame is playing the negative lead role. Abhimanyu received many praises for his role as Bukka Reddy in Rakta Charitra and Mumaith Khan in negative roles. Nenu Naa Rakshasi is an upcoming Telugu youthful romantic action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Ileana D'Cruz, Mumaith Khan and the Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh (of Rakhta Charitra fame).
This is the Rana's second film in Telugu, after-Leader, and the second time and Puri Jagannadh Ileana are working together (after Pokiri). The film is produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) under Bhavya Creations. The film's music has been composed by music directors Vishwah and Rahman.
